Just came back from seeing the movie... One word, terrible... And I love action movies... the rock should stick to the people's elbow and laying the smackdown, cause he is worse then arnold was in conan... Save yourself the money folks... I play drums in Prog rock band - FATE - www.fateband.com // TOOl Tribute band - STINKFIST-www.stinkfistband.com // RUSH tribute band - PERMANENT WAVES - www.comnet.ca/~permanentwaves/index.html

funny.... i enjoyed the movie, it was exactly what i expected, an action movie. Im confused as to how he becomes the evil scorpion king... but hey, thats what sequels to prequels are for right It was quite funny during the opening scene someone busted out... DO YOU SMELLLLLLLL.... and he sounded pretty accurate to the rock. I have a feeling there will be many more likes than dislikes towards this movie, but not much grey area. Was it good porn at least? I'm not wearing any pants. -Chroma

So nobody crashes through a big sheet of glass being carried across a street? That's really disappointing.

I don't think I'll ever see this movie because I HATE, yes I am using the word HATE here, wrastling and I HATE the "rock" or the pebble or whatever he's called. And in the end, wrastling is just one large homo-erotic fest of men in the underwear trying to get each other "on the ground" so they can lay on top of each other. The funny part is, men love watching this. Oh yeah, and the movie is probably lame too. Feather out your mullets boys because after we finish here at Merv's we're goin' to a wrastlin' show! --------------------------------- "Down the dark decades of your pain, this will seem like a memory of heaven."

Well then that made me laugh. Hey I hate wrestling too, but that is no reason to dis the Rock being in a movie. The thing aboot wrestling is it is entertainment. it's like 60% acting and 40% kicking ass. I personaly can't wait to see the movie. PEACE "Isn't that Captain Stoobing?"- JP "Ass... And balls!"-MP

Yeah, Kelly Hu's hot. But this movie sucked donkey balls. It was so horrendously bad I can't describe it. And his character wasn't the same Scorpion King as the Mummy showed. I think they screwed the pooch every way they could. And the "ethnic sidekick/comedy relief" in Scorpion King was the GOOD guy assistant to Ahhhnold and Tom Arnold in True Lies, not the terrorist dude.

"but that is no reason to dis the Rock being in a movie." In my lil book of films, it's every reason, but you know, that's me. --------------------------------- "Down the dark decades of your pain, this will seem like a memory of heaven."

Not a cerebral movie at all. Like, AT ALL. And, at times, very heavily laden with Velveeta, it was so cheesey. But I enjoyed it on a "Nice. Pretty images. No thinking required." level. Kelly is bangin' and The Rock isn't that bad. I'd matinee it again, for sure. -NickG Do, or do not. There is no 'try'.

Man, the Rock makes Arnold Schwarzenagger look like MENSA's top achieving member. Again: Movie suck. Don't go. This one deserves to come and go like a porn star.
