DT & SCORE on VH1 Classic

Yes!  I just found out that I have VH1 Classic.  Hip hip hooray!

It's funny - prior to this post I didn't even know VH1 Classic exhisted. Now that I've found it I'm sure to give it a pass every time I channel surf. Sounds like puttng Dream Theater on your channel can be good for buisness, eh?

I have VH1 Classic and I'm fixing to set up the DVR to record it, as I will be out of town. If it won't get me in trouble, I'd be willing to try to record it to DVD. (My recorder takes DVD-R discs, and I don't know if that will play in everything.) Someone please let me know if this is uncool!

I don't have vh1 classic, but I'll have this weekend when my dish is installed.

I dont have the channel 144 VH1 Classic Rock channel here in central Ohio, but I just called and I have to step up to the bronz package to get channel 144 for this show. I only have regular VH1 channel 70.

Dream Theater is DAMN well worth the extra $12 to upgrade for the last part of this month to see this show, which I was at anyway AND have preordered the Score DVD!!!

i have only VH1 (no classic) in my tv system (Directv Chile)

I just set the DVR to record it. Now I just need to figure out how I could transfer it to the computer...

Had VH1-Classic on while is was doing some dishes and during another episode of Classic in Concert they ran a promo for the DT concert premeiring Friday.  They even mentioned to get the CD & DVD on the 29th.

I actually DVR'd Classic In Concert & Metal Mania last night in hopes of catching a promo,but they didn't have one.

They actually showed a couple of seconds of Raise the Knife, among other things.  I didn't see the whole thing.  I looked over at the TV and saw JP shredding.
 
The promo aired towards the end of the Elvis Costello concert.

Ok,I managed to get the comercial DVDr'd (don't ask me to put it on youtube).It shows a little snipet of The Root Of All Evil & Raise The Knife.The announcer says Octavarium wrong.He pronounces the second "a" with a short vowel sound ("OctaVARium -"VAR" rhymes with "CAR" instead of "CARE"),and not a long vowel (unless I've been saying it wrong all this time).

Damn, that sucks for me.  I don't mind missing the concert cause I'm buying that for DVD and I will get to see it anyways, but I really wanted to see the Metal Mania show.  Dude, if you live in Mexico City, is it possible for you to record it and then let me see it?

In the tradition of the HD like quality of my screen shots I have posted ,I guess I could record a video of the comercial playing on my tv (I still have it DVR'd) with my digital camera and post it here.I'd have to be sure it would be allowed by Wey first though. 

I got the comercial recorded with my digital camera (it actually doesn't look and sound that bad),I'll upload it and post it if Wey says it's ok.
