I just hope the crowd noise isn't as loud on the record as it is on the mp3 sampler! 

It wont be turned down, the crwod is just so noisy becuase they see DT!!!!
I've never seen them Live, becuase i had to drive 200km's to the next concert and no one of my family wanted to drive me (at this time my brother had no driver license)
MP also Faded in and Faded Out, that's because the vrowd is so loud.

But i had to cry when the Orchester played the end of Octaviarum and War Inside My Head (YES, my favourite album complete, with orchester, STRIKE)

OMG!!! Just hearing the note JP holds as the orchestra and DT close out the ending of Octavarium brought chills and the hairs on my arms to stand up. I had a tear in my eye that night and I have one right now! I cant Efin wait!
 
MP You and the boys rule and that night hearing and seeing the orchestra with DT especially on Octavarium was a musical highlight in my life and to relive it over and over again will be something I will cherish. Thank you

1 hour Documentary tracking the entire career of the band from the very beginnings at the Berklee College Of Music in 1985 all the way to the Radio City Music Hall grand finale.
Including rare never before seen footage and interviews with current and previous members of the band.

Also included on the DVD are several live Bonus Tracks from through the years taken from the Portnoy Archives.

i know this may sound a little ridiculous, but any chance that the symphony sheet music will be released at some point?  it would probably cost too much money for not too big of a response but i figured i should ask .

This is one of the fastest dvd releases that comes to my mind in terms of time between concert and release. Thank you so much Mike for all your hard work getting this together. I can't wait to relive that experience. Now go take a vacation.

My cup overflows.

I'm looking forward to this so much. Once I get the DVD+CD, I'll be able to not only hear the symphony, but see what they look like (I was stage right and couldn't see anyone but the director). Plus, now I'll be able to hear what JM played, since I couldbarely hear most of what he played that night. It's forever going to be sweet when I watch and listen and remember I was there in the audience. Listening to the MP3 teaser, I remember calling a friend during TSCO and letting it play for his answering machine. That song was one of the coolest moments of the night, IMO. Can't wait to see all the extra stuff on the DVD.
