DREAM THEATER SCORE - coming 8/29/06!

It's so amazing to hear the crowd screaming their heads off, and knowing that I was one of those people, screaming like an idiot.  Good god.  The camera work in the E-card  makes me even more excited.

OMG, I just heard the crowd singing along to Spirit Carries On!  I'm actually crying.

Probably because it's the one that has the most professional camera work, since it was filmed for tv at the time. there are 2 different video recordings of that show on the web

Thanks Ink, now THAT was the info I have been looking for! I was about to pre-order my Score DVD over at PLAY.com until I noticed they are selling the NTSC-version. I was already getting worried that it wouldn’t be available in PAL-format?! Good to see it’s available in PAL too.
 
Listened to the MP3’s last night & watched that e-card a couple of times… it definitely brings back the magic of that amazing night. Can’t wait to watch the DVD & re-live the whole thing!

Not exactly. PAL-format has better visual quality (depending on where you are located in the world, of course). Plus my region free-DVD player gets the hick-ups from that NTSC Images And Words Live in Tokyo/5 Years In A Live Time-DVD!  Don’t want that to happen with Score.

I wonder who's biggest dream it was within DT to play with an orchestra...
i can imagine JR would be thrilled to hear is pieces being played by one....

The eCard is DEADLY! This DVD is going to PWN L@B for sure. I prefer the song selection as well. 2 major epics in 1 set?

The orchestra sounds deadly and looks alot better than I had anticipated. For some reason the pictures didn't show accurately the Orchestra in my mind. This eCard has made me SOOO exctied now. Only 23 days now! (4,8,15,16,23,42)

I am literally freezing now after hearing the set #2 teaser; the Octavarium guitar solo is the most beautiful thing I've ever heard.

I am just listening to Innocence Faded, and WOW how incredible James sounds!!
