Tool - Lateralus. Never heard Tool before. The music is nice most of the time, but I have some trouble with Maynard's voice. Too low in the mix in my opinion, and not much emotion in his singing. And I think their music really suffers from the lack of keyboard(s). But I like the melodic bass guitar, and the rythmic guitar lines.

Just bought Porcupine Tree - Deadwing after all the hype I've been hearing around here. A little expensive, but not so bad. I've heard about the first half 3 or 4 times now. In the same trip I also finally bought PF's Pulse. That was way too expensive, but the sound and art is good. Now if they'd just release the damned DVD. Also bought the Making of DSoTM DVD that trip but haven't seen it yet.

Last week I bought a cd as a birthday present for my father. I was: Kölner Saxophon Mafia - Spaceplayer (translated: Cologne Saxophone mafia - Spaceplayer) Pretty weird but also cool stuff. Just fours saxophones (all different kinds) and that's it. Sometimes it sounds like four saxophone players practise in the same room though.
