Trivium--The Crusade the 1st listen throught I really loved it and thought it was catchy, but it definetly loses it's touch rather quickly

SFAM, no kidding. I've been listening to it since the year it came out, but it was my brother's cd. After realizing that it's my favourite album ever, i decided to buy my own version of it

Spock's Beard - Feel Euphoria (not quite decided whether it's better than Octane or not, but it sure is a great album nonetheless..) I also bought a great recording of Igor Stravinksy's "The Rite of Spring" conducted by Ricardo Muti on the same day. I'm trying to get into classical music, and this ballet by Stravinksy is very prog-esque (or should that be vice versa)! It sounds like The Mars Volta or Yes circa Relayer and it even sparked full-scale riots when it was first performed in 1913 or something. Man, there's so much good music yet to be discovered if this is anything to go by...
"Well I've said it before, and I'll say it again: you get nuthin' for nuthin' - expect it when you're backseat-driving and your hands ain't on the whee-uhlll!!!"

I bought Porcupine Tree's Futile EP and Rockpalast from their download store. Both are amazing. The Rockpalast setlist is quite nice, especially because you get Futile, So Called Friend and Mother and Child Divided. Not to mention, Arriving Somewhere (But Not Here) is a great performance, maybe the highlight of the show. I wasn't really a fan of this song, but hearing it live has convinced me.
