Why is there a difference in the tracklisting of the Japanese pressing of Live at the Marquee, compared to the European pressing? faq id: 294
MP: That was the record companies. They were like "we want this one - we want that one." It really doesn't make sense on the European version. The European version has Surrounded and not Another Day, so Surrounded is followed by Another Hand and then The Killing Hand, where as the Japanese version follows on correctly as it has Another Day just before Another Hand. It should be stressed that our involvement with this album was very minimal. We don't look at it like it's a real Dream Theater album by any means. It's just something that came up, we did it and put it out for any fans that would be interested in having it or hearing it. I'm not saying that we're not proud of it - I like it. I think it's a good souvenir or whatever, but we weren't really that hands-on with it at all.
